A Postgraduate

When we finish our major, we can choose whether to continue studying or start working directly. If we chose the first option, we would be entering a postgraduate. There are several reasons why I think it would be a good idea to study a postgraduate. In the first place, because I believe that the formation of these five years is broad, but superficial, so to continue studying would allow you to deepen those of greatest interest. Another good reason could be that a postgraduate is a learning experience different from school and undergraduate (especially if it were in another country), due mostly to the way it is organized and the goal of long-term research. In my case, there are many different topics from which I would like to learn more, but in general, I would probably choose a postgraduate that relates to clinical or forensic psychology. My future job

Hello everyone, today I’m gonna talk about my future job. I have always known that I have to work (not doing so is not an option in my house), but being very honest, I am not clear about a specific job that I would like to do or where.  In my career, psychology, it is possible to find job opportunities in very different contexts, from companies to schools, even in different communities, which makes it more difficult to choose. I know that I would prefer an indoor job, because I like clinical psychology better, although I don't have an exact idea of what day-to-day life would be like. Nor do I know if I will work in the public or private sphere, the truth is that I would stay at the job in which they accept me. Regardless of where it is, I would like, if I have patients, that coming to see me helps them in some way. The most delicious food

Hello guys, today I want to talk about ( in my opinion ) the most delicious food in the world: french fries. Although they are often considered an accompaniment, for me it is a pleasure to eat them as a main dish, with different sauces, such as ketchup, garlic mayonnaise, or even cheese.  To make french fries, you have to cut the potato into even strips. Some people like to soak them in cold water, but I’ve never done it (apparently, it makes the fries more crispy). After that, you can fry them in one or two stages. I always fry them in one, since we can’t wait when there are fries around, and they are still delicious! And when I buy them, I love the crinkle cut (there are infinite shapes for fries). Going out with friends to eat french fries is a great way to spend time together and relax. Now, I'm trying different places that offer french fries as the main product. My favourite show

Today I want to talk about one of my favourite shows ever: Breaking Bad. It aired in January, 2008 on AMC for five seasons, and since then it has become one of the greatest shows ever. It tells the story of Walter White, a chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with lung cancer, and from that moment, not having enough money to pay for his treatment and support his family, he decides to start “cooking” and selling methamphetamine, partnering with his former student Jesse Pinkman. In the course of the series it is possible to follow Walt's evolution towards its "bad" side, turning slowly and unstoppably into Heisenberg, managing to overcome seemingly impossible situations and building his empire. Watching the series for the first time may seem a bit slow, but it's absolutely worth it. My best holidays

The best holidays I’ve ever had were in 2015, during the summer. My family and I visited Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine National Park, and we stayed for two weeks. When we arrived in Punta Arenas, the first thing we did was to visit the house where my dad lived as a child. He felt so happy, his house was just as he remembered it. We took some pictures and talked about his life in the city. Then, we went for a walk to see the main square. That day, I had the best hot chocolate of my life, I can still remember the taste! The next day, we visited a family friend and he lent us his car so we could tour the Torres del Paine park. The park is impressive, huge, breathtaking, I can't describe it accurately. It has a lot of nature, animals, wonderful views, and we had a lot of fun trying to take pictures while the car kept moving. The weather was ideal, there were no clouds. We tried to follow the route to the base of the Torres, but it was too dangerous for...

Hello guys, my name is Javiera and I would love to visit the United States, for many reasons: it has incredible monuments, history, fun activities, theme parks and delicious food. I would particularly like to visit the Harry Potter theme park in Universal Studios, the Statue of Liberty and the Great Canyon! About the country itself I know very general things, about what is currently happening more than anything. I know it had civil wars in the past, and wars with other countries, I know that racism has been a difficult issue even today and I also know that it is a very culturally diverse country despite the above. I’d like to stay a couple of weeks and visit different places by car, try local food and spend a pleasant time with my family.
