A Postgraduate

When we finish our major, we can choose whether to continue studying or start working directly. If we chose the first option, we would be entering a postgraduate.

There are several reasons why I think it would be a good idea to study a postgraduate. In the first place, because I believe that the formation of these five years is broad, but superficial, so to continue studying would allow you to deepen those of greatest interest. Another good reason could be that a postgraduate is a learning experience different from school and undergraduate (especially if it were in another country), due mostly to the way it is organized and the goal of long-term research.

Right now I am not sure if I really want to do it, because research is not my main interest, but I do not rule out the possibility.

If I did, the truth is that for a comfort issue I would prefer to do it in Chile, but if I had the opportunity to study in another country, I would take it for sure, because it would be a completely different experience, and I would learn more things than the postgraduate by which would go there.

About how I would like to learn, the truth is that I would prefer it not to be distance-learning, because the experience of sharing with teachers and classmates is also part of learning, so I would prefer it to be like that. A postgraduate seems to be something very complex to achieve, so it is a very important decision, but it would also mean more knowledge and new experiences!

  2. Like you, I am between clinical psychology, and forensics, because I like them both. However, I am not yet completely determined to do a postgraduate degree in them, but they do seem interesting areas. :(

  3. You are right, the 5 years in pregrado are very superficial, it is not possible to deepen some contents. And what about the precarious electives they offer in some careers, I also think it is necessary to continue studying a Posgraduate.

  6. Yeah, that's a good point, I wouldn't really like to do a postgraduate course, but you're right in the fact that the 5 undergraduate years could be not enought, it makes me reconsider my plans.
