My best holidays

The best holidays I’ve ever had were in 2015, during the summer. My family and I visited Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine National Park, and we stayed for two weeks. When we arrived in Punta Arenas, the first thing we did was to visit the house where my dad lived as a child. He felt so happy, his house was just as he remembered it. We took some pictures and talked about his life in the city. Then, we went for a walk to see the main square. That day, I had the best hot chocolate of my life, I can still remember the taste!

The next day, we visited a family friend and he lent us his car so we could tour the Torres del Paine park. The park is impressive, huge, breathtaking, I can't describe it accurately. It has a lot of nature, animals, wonderful views, and we had a lot of fun trying to take pictures while the car kept moving. The weather was ideal, there were no clouds. We tried to follow the route to the base of the Torres, but it was too dangerous for my little sister.

We did see the Milodon cave though!

Last but not least, we arrived in Puerto Natales to spend the last days. It’s a small and adorable town, it has delicious food and we were able to rest and have some peace, although it was strange that it didn't get dark until almost eleven o'clock at night!
